Excellence. I love this word! Why? Because the word excellence means doing your best! I am a big believer that we can always strive to do better and to be better, but excellence is knowing that at this very moment in whatever you are doing, it is the best that can be done.
Excellence comes from the inside and is a choice we make everyday and in every action we take. It is not what we do, but how we do it that turns it from being satisfactory to excellent. So, how is it that we can strive for excellence in all we do in order to live our most beautifuliife? Check out my suggestions below to see how you might improve from satisfactory to better to best.
- Set goals - Make sure you keep yourself on track with what needs to happen to accomplish them. Be realistic but optimistic at the same time so you can push yourself to be better. Whether it be business, personal or family goals - make sure you stick to your deadlines and adjust them as needed.
- Get organized - I truly believe that organization is a key to accomplishing things and moving on to the next. Make lists, check things off, move them to the next one and so on. Keep things clean and declutter when necessary to stay focused on the tasks at hand.
- Have integrity - Do the right thing and be authentic in all you do. Own it when you’re wrong, pursue it when you’re right and trust that everything you do is the right thing to do in that moment. Confidence and integrity are crucial to excelling in life.
- Keep learning - Never ever stop learning and listening to people who have been there and done that and have proven themselves as experts in various areas of life. Make sure you choose wisely who you listen to and learn from and let your instinct guide you to your mentors.
Most importantly, don’t limit yourself and remember that best is only best until you can do better so make sure that you review yourself from time to time to see if you are always striving towards excellence in all you do.
My affirmation for you this week is;
“I will strive to be better and won’t settle for anything other than excellence as I continue my journey to having my most balanced and beautifulife!"
