Greener Pastures

Most of you have heard the term greener pastures, but what does that mean?  I happen to think that there are many ways to look at this term, and they don't always end up to be greener or better.  As a matter of fact, in many cases, when people think the grass is greener on the other side, they find out that it is not and where they were was not so bad after all.

You might love what you do as a career but feel like you need a change.  You then find something that looks and feels a bit better, and it might just be the next best thing.  Then one day, you look around to realize that you were much happier and in a better situation before.  What do you do now?

You may feel that you want to move away to experience new adventures in a completely different environment.  You make a move, and then one day you look around and realize that this was not what you envisioned or was hoping for your future.  Now what?

Relationships can get trying at times and whether it is a long relationship or a short one, the challenges most definitely will arise.  Regardless of the amount of time spent with someone, there will probably be a moment or two that you think about the what if’s, or the, how can I be happier, more content, more fulfilled.

There are always examples in life where a greener pasture is completely necessary to move to a better situation for your health, happiness, peace of mind, and overall beautifulife.  But, the point is, that regardless of whether you change your career path, start a new relationship or move to a new location, you will still encounter challenges along the way.

Sometimes the need to find greener pastures lies within us.  Making just a slight adjustment in our attitude, gratitude, and appreciation for the here and now will help you make the right decisions before looking to a new, plusher, and greener pastures.  You may find that the grass is pretty green right where you are, and if you listen to your heart, you may find a brand new love for all that you had yesterday, all that you have today, and all that tomorrow will bring.

My affirmation for you this week is,

"I appreciate all that I have and will continue to follow my heart to live my beautifulife every day."
